In our endeavour to promote the resurgence of Telugu Langue & culture and to Commemorate the 500^th year of coronation of Sri Krishnadeva Raya, poetry Recitation Competition from Amuktha Malyada; Penned by Sri Krishnadeva Raya, was conducted for School Children of twin cities of Hyderabad & Secunderabad on Thursday 27^th Aug 2009 at Lalitha Kala Thoranam, Hyderabad. About 200 Students from various Schools across the City vied to take part in the competition. Ten language experts were designated to judge the children. A 40 page monograph on Amuktha Malyada was prepared with 51 easy-to-learn poems, were distributed among 200 Schools so that the children could come prepared for the event.
