It has undertaken a number of social service initiatives for the improvement of the quality of life of the poor, underpriviliged, urban slum-dwellers by providing medical aid, legal aid and financial assistance to them, and high quality education to their children. It runs a number of schools in the various Indian cities, like Hyderabad, Kolkata and Banglore. Mr.P.Dinakar Rao is the Director of the Foundation.

The programmes of the Foundation are carried out under the directions of an advisory committee headed by Prof. Subash Sarnikar, Chairman, ICFAI. Other members of the advisory committee include : Shri K. Chandramouli, IAS, Special Project Director, Sarva Siksha Abhiyan, Shri P.A. Chowdhary, Insurance Ombudsman, Shri O.P. Jagetiya, MD, Hyderabad Industries, Shri D.V.L.N. Murthy, IAS (Retd), Shri B.V. Rama Rao IAS, (Retd), Shri T.S. Rao, IPS (Retd), Shri K.S.V. Krishnamachari (Retd DMD, SBI), Dr. K.V.J. Rao, Dr. T.R.K. Rao, Mr. Syed Anis Hussain and Prof. Koshy Verghese.
